If you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or you are in an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately (112 in Türkiye) and contact a healthcare provider.

These terms are an agreement between Tichodex (Istanbul, Türkiye) and the person using the Tichodex mobile app and tichodex.com (the “User”). By using the app or giving your consent on the sign-up screen, you accept these terms. This English version is provided for convenience; if there is any conflict, the Turkish version prevails.

1. Description of the Service

Tichodex is a social platform where users share what is weighing on them (“I Need to Talk”) and help others (“I Help Out”). It includes posts, comments, likes, private messaging, view-once media and an optional VIP subscription. Under Turkish Law No. 5651, Tichodex is a hosting provider: it hosts content created by users, does not create that content and is not obliged to review it in advance.

2. Eligibility and Age Limit

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, you need the consent of your parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give at sign-up and for the security of your account. Never share your password.
Usernames are unique; names that impersonate another person or organisation are not allowed. Names starting with “Anonim” are reserved.

3. Licence

Tichodex grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or modify the app, collect data with automated tools or try to circumvent security measures. Disclosing messages or chat content through screenshots, recordings or any other means is prohibited.

4. User Content

You are legally responsible for the content you share.
You own your content. You grant Tichodex a free, worldwide licence, valid until you delete your account, to host, store, reproduce (caching, compression) and show your content to the people you choose, only as far as needed to provide the service.
Your content must comply with the Community Guidelines.
Don’t share information that identifies you (home address, phone number, ID number).

5. Reporting, Moderation and Sanctions

You can report content and users that break the rules from inside the app.
When you report a chat, the reported part of that chat is made available to authorised moderators so it can be reviewed.
Tichodex may remove content that breaks the rules and may temporarily or permanently restrict or delete accounts. Serious violations (child abuse, serious threats, etc.) are reported to the authorities.

6. VIP Subscription and Purchases

VIP membership will be sold only through Google Play and is currently coming soon. Prices, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are set out in the Subscription Terms.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Tichodex is not a health service. The advice users give each other is personal opinion; Tichodex does not guarantee its accuracy, suitability or outcome. Make decisions about medication, diagnosis or treatment only with a doctor or mental-health professional.

The service is provided “as is”. Tichodex does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the outcome of communication between users or the accuracy of user content. Except where liability cannot be limited by law (intent, gross negligence, bodily harm, etc.), Tichodex is not liable for indirect damages.

8. Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time via Profile > Settings > Delete My Account. Tichodex may close your account with notice if you breach these terms, or immediately for serious violations. Records subject to legal retention obligations are kept even after the account is deleted.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated. Significant changes are announced in the app at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The Istanbul Central (Çağlayan) Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumers’ rights to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts, and any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence, are reserved.
