I Need to Talk

Carrying something?
Talk it out, feel lighter.

If it’s 3 a.m. and you’re turning the same thought over for the hundredth time, you’re not alone. No shame, no judgement. Here you’ll find people who listen, not people who judge. You don’t even have to share your name.

I Help Out

Good at listening?
Light up someone’s night.

One message can change a night that would otherwise last until morning. Be kind, listen, share what you’ve learned. Whoever shares someone’s burden today won’t carry their own alone tomorrow.

The Midnight Club

Worries keep you awake.
That’s why we’re here at night.

When something’s on your mind, sleep won’t come — even with your head on the pillow, you can’t escape your thoughts. Tichodex exists to remind you that even in the quietest hours, someone is awake and ready to listen. Because sometimes what we need isn’t a solution, but a voice saying, “I understand.”

Tichodex is coming to Google Play very soon. The download link will appear on this page as soon as it is live.

No Shame, No Fear

Everyone carries something. Opening up isn’t weakness, it’s courage. You don’t have to show your real name; you can write under a username.

Kindness Comes Back

A small message can lighten a heavy load. Listening, offering perspective and simply being there are among the most valuable gifts you can give.

Stronger Together

Communities heal when people listen to each other. Every “Solved My Problem” thank-you means a little more solidarity and a little more hope.

Feel Safe

Your messages travel over an encrypted connection and are visible only to the people in the chat. You decide how visible you are; your email and personal details are never shown to anyone, and your data is never sold.

How It Works

Tichodex in three steps

  1. 1

    Pick your mode

Choose I Need to Talk to open up, or I Help Out to listen. Switch any time.

  2. 2

    Share or reach out

Post what’s on your mind or share a story; people who want to help reach you with a respectful support request.

  3. 3

    Talk and feel lighter

Chat one-to-one, send voice messages, and thank the person who helped with “Solved My Problem”.

See how it works

No matter how dark the night,
morning always comes.

And sometimes what brings that morning is a single message sent at midnight.

Questions people ask

What is Tichodex?

Tichodex is a free peer-support and chat app that connects people who need to talk (I Need to Talk) with people who love to listen and help (I Help Out). You can share posts and stories, chat one-to-one, send voice messages and thank the person who helped you with “Solved My Problem”.

Is Tichodex out yet, and where can I download it?
Tichodex is coming to Google Play very soon. The download link will appear on this page as soon as it is live. The official download link is always on tichodex.com/en/download.
What’s the difference between “I Need to Talk” and “I Help Out”?

In I Need to Talk mode you want to open up, be heard and get advice; people who want to help send you a short support request first, and it’s entirely up to you whether to accept. In I Help Out mode you listen, offer perspective and send support requests. You can switch modes any time from your profile.

Is Tichodex free?

Yes. Tichodex is free to download and use. An optional VIP membership will be offered later; VIP is “coming soon” and can’t be purchased yet. All core features will stay free.

Are my messages safe?

Your messages travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and are visible only to the people in the chat. They are stored on our servers with restricted access; authorised moderators review a chat only if it is reported or when the law requires it. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Is Tichodex therapy or counselling?

No. Tichodex is a peer-support platform between people; the people you talk to aren’t doctors or psychologists, and their advice doesn’t replace professional help. If you’re in immediate danger, call your local emergency number right away — see Safety & Support for helplines.
