Community Guidelines

People come to Tichodex in difficult moments. We follow these rules so everyone here feels safe. Content that breaks them is removed and accounts may be restricted.

1. Tichodex Is Not a Treatment Service

2. Be Respectful

• Insults, humiliation, mockery, bullying and harassment are not allowed.
• Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other characteristic is not allowed.
• Don’t belittle anyone’s worries. If you can’t help, staying quiet is an option too.

3. Do No Harm

• Sharing content that encourages or describes methods of self-harm or suicide is strictly prohibited.
• If someone writes that they will harm themselves, encourage them to contact emergency services and someone close to them, and report the content.
• Threats, calls to violence and glorifying violence are not allowed.

4. Health Advice

• Recommending medication, suggesting dose changes or diagnosing is not allowed.
• If you present yourself as a doctor, psychologist or other expert, it must be true; even so, conversations here do not replace treatment.

5. Protecting Children — Zero Tolerance

• Any text, image, comment, joke, role-play or message that sexualises anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited.
• Seeking romantic or sexual contact with a minor, asking them for photos, videos, personal information or meetings, or trying to build closeness by offering gifts or money is strictly prohibited.
• Encouraging a child to hide conversations from their family, move to other apps or distance themselves from people close to them is strictly prohibited.
• Sharing, requesting, selling, possessing or directing others to child sexual abuse material is strictly prohibited.
• Lying about your age to contact minors is strictly prohibited.

Sanction: the content is removed immediately; the account and all linked accounts are permanently closed; records are kept and reported to the authorities. If you come across such content, tap “Report” right away; if a child is in danger, call your local emergency number.

6. Privacy

• Sharing your own or anyone else’s address, phone number, ID number, bank details, private photos or other personal information is not allowed.
• Disclosing messages, photos and videos shared in chats or any other content by screenshot, recording or any other means is not allowed.
• Sharing or exposing the worries someone told you anywhere else is not allowed.

7. Spam and Fraud

• Advertising, sharing links, asking for money or gifts, and offering paid “consultations” are not allowed.
• Impersonating another person or organisation is not allowed.
• Using multiple accounts to get around the rules is not allowed.

8. Sexual and Violent Media

Obscene or sexual images, or disturbing images such as blood or injuries, may not be shared; your account may be closed as soon as they are detected.

9. Support Requests

• In “I Help Out” mode, you can only reach someone in “I Need to Talk” mode by sending a support request. Introduce yourself briefly and respectfully; you can write up to 50 lines.
• Accepting a request is entirely the other person’s choice. If you are declined, you can’t message or send new requests to that person, like or comment on their posts, or report them for 48 hours. It’s not a penalty — it’s respect for their space, and it lifts automatically.
• Insisting with other accounts after being declined counts as harassment and leads to account closure.

10. Sanctions

Depending on how serious a violation is, we remove content, issue a warning, temporarily restrict features, suspend the account, permanently close it or report it to the authorities. For serious violations (child exploitation, serious threats), accounts are closed without warning. If you think a decision was wrong, write to us.
